All right. I have done my duty, and at least posted a couple more things on my blog other than deals. I just got back from spending all morning shopping, though, and thought I'd share. (I'm exhausted.) I had to hit 4 stores, though I didn't end up purchasing anything at one of those stores. (The manager was pretty coupon clueless and didn't want to accept my coupons.) Oh, well, we still made out okay, it just took us a little longer.
I bought:
53 Ragu sauce pouches (I'm working on my year supply, and spaghetti's a staple item around here!)
4 Boxes of Kraft mac & cheese (another staple item-- it's too bad that I still consider them a good deal at .50 a box)
2 Packages of Ramen
2 Packages of Kool-Aid
Total grocery store cost: $2.35
Coupon cost: $8.92 (I spent a lot of $$ on coupons this time so that they could be in the mail immediately)
Total coupon savings: $53.72
Total store savings: $97.96
Total Cost: $11.27 with $151.68 saved!!!!
